PRIDE! Kent is Kent State University's lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and straight ally group. The group is open to anybody who wants to attend for any reason. PRIDE stands for "People Respecting Individual Diversity Everywhere" and encompasses cultural, political, historical, and educational grounds through its activities and causes. This organization addresses the importance of equal rights of all people through attaining undeniable liberties currently not offered to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered, and other sexual and gender minorities, as well as addressing other inequalities regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, class, ethnicity, etc., that might occur on campus and in society

The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer Plus (LGBTQ+) Center is dedicated to providing the students, faculty and staff at Kent State University with education, training, support and resources that cater to the gender and sexual minority community and its allies.
